COVID-19 Re-Opening Update - January 25, 2022

Jan. 25, 2022

The Government of Ontario recently announced a lifting of restrictions in many areas beginning January 31, 2022. This will include the re-opening of arenas and recreation facilities.  We are all anxious to see life get back to normal and to get back to hockey.

The City has contacted us to let us know that we can resume programming on January 31st, however, both the City of Hamilton and the OWHA are awaiting clarification from the government with regard to permitted activities, spectator capacity and COVID Protocol updates. We will update families as this information is conveyed to us.

Once we have the updates from the City and the OWHA, the board will work to reschedule games and practices.  Please be sure to check the website and your RAMP Team App frequently for updates to your player's schedule.  Please remember that this requires significant coordination and time, so your patience is appreciated.

Stay tuned for more information about entry times, spectator limits and other COVID protocol updates.

The City issued a news release today that gives a brief outline of reopening in Hamilton.  You can find it here.

See you at the rink.
