U15 Competitive Pathway - Potential Options Being Explored

FGHA is exploring U15 competitive options for 2025/26, including DS, a U15 C team, and a fall assessment of the Tier 2 team for BB seeding—opening the door for a possible U15B team. Please note, none of these options are confirmed and are subject to approval, interest, and ice availability.

Possible options include:

• House League / DS - Continued House League programming with the potential for a Development Stream (DS) team.

• U15 C Team - Pending approval to join the WOGHL (Western Ontario Girls Hockey League), a U15 C team may be formed. Closest league centres would likely include Woodstock and Kitchener.

• Fall Tier 2 Opportunity - FGHA will assess in the fall whether the current U15 Tier 2 team will be seeded as a BB team, based on competitiveness and player development. This would allow for the potential formation of a U15B team.

Please be aware that ice availability will be a key factor in determining whether these teams can move forward. If additional ice time cannot be secured, some options may not proceed.

We ask that only players registered—or intending to register—for tryouts attend sessions, as we work to manage numbers fairly.
