U7 General Information

Our U7 Program: A Strong Start for Future Hockey Stars!

The U7 Program is an essential part of early hockey development, mandated by both Hockey Canada and the OWHA. The FGHA is proud to support this initiative, which emphasizes small-ice development for our youngest players. This focused approach helps them gain the strength, confidence, and foundational skills needed to thrive on the ice, paving the way for lifelong hockey success!

Structured and Professional Training: Led by Celina Clark, our U7 athletes will continue to receive expert guidance to ensure they progress and develop in a positive, nurturing environment.

Season Breakdown:

To offer even more flexibility, we’ve divided the season into two sessions:

• Session 1: October 1st - December 21st
• Session 2: January 3rd - March 1st

Families can choose to sign up for once a week in Session 1 and switch to twice weekly in Session 2 (or the other way around) for complete flexibility.

Dates to Remember:

• Weekly Stream: Begins Saturday, October 5th at 8:00 AM
• Twice Weekly Stream: Starts Friday, October 4th at 5:00 PM

All sessions will be held at Carlisle Arena.
