House League - First Ice Time!
It's almost time to kick off the 2023-24 Houe League season.
Hockey school and our equipment swap happen starting September 9th and then we're on to evaluation skates and the season begins.
If you haven't already registered (and paid in full) now is the time. Several divisions are filling up quickly, so it's important to get registered now if your daughter is hoping to play this year.
All house league players are asked to attend the evaluation skates for their age group. They will be held at Harry Howell (rink A) on Sunday September 24th (times below). These sessions help us to form the teams for the year, so please be on time and ready to go!
Division | Time |
U9 | 9am |
U11 | 10am |
U13 | 11am |
U15 | 12pm |
U18/22 | 5pm |
What happens next?
- Once the evaluation skates are complete, Brad and the Coaches will work to divide players up to create "even" teams at each division. Please note that while we will always do our best to honour friend requests, the creation of balanced, competitive teams is our priority.
- Head coaches will reach out to their teams and practices can begin
- Players will get invitations to join the RAMP team app for their team - please download the app for your phone as this will be your key means of communication with your coach and your schedule!
- The full year game schedule is created in the last week of September and published in the first week of October
Other notes:
- Sponsorship - we are always seeking sponsors for our House League teams - if you'd like more information please reach out to Jen Gunby
- Staff - every team requires a minimum of one female on the bench. Please consider volunteering to help coach or be a trainer for your daughter's team!
- U7 will start in October with more details to follow!
