2024-25 Competitive (Rep) Tryouts

The 2024-25 FGHA rep tryouts will be held from April 19th - May 4th, 2024 for the 2024-25 Season.  

Fees:

All fees are payable by credit card through the registration system.   

Registration:

For insurance purposes, all players are required to register for the appropriate tryout package before coming to the rink and pre-registration is required. 

For those who are coming from outside the FGHA, please note that registration for a tryout will not initiate a transfer between Associations.  This will happen once a player has been offered a commitment to an FGHA team and completes the registration for the new season.

As per the FGHA Rep Policy, all players are required to start tryouts at the highest level for their age group.

Permission to Tryout:

All players registered with the FGHA are eligible for try-outs.  All other players coming from outside the FGHA require properly completed OWHA "Permission To Tryout" form signed by your Association before being allowed to participate in a try-out.  The 2024-25 PTT form is available here.

For FGHA players, if you need a Permission To Tryout (PTT) form, please review the process here and then submit the completed form to Rep Director Kevin Smoke.  The Rep Director is the only individual authorized to sign a PTS on behalf of the FGHA.   

You'll be asked to provide: 

• 2 Completed forms for each Association that you want to try out for.
• Association and Division/Level the player is trying out for
• Dates of the tryout(s)
• Please allow 24-48 hours turn-around to receive your signed PTT form
• All fees (both team and association) must be paid in full before the FGHA will release a player to another association
